Original art by Eleanor Spring
I have been writing, editing and proofreading science communication articles since 2011. I aim to make my writing both informative and engaging. I strongly believe that if I use jargon that my reader cannot understand, then that is a failing of myself as a writer.

Blog articles
I will be posting more blog post on this website, but I already have some blog articles published.
Most recently I was proud to write an article for the ESO Blog, detailing how light pollution affects astronomers and society in general (published 2019)

The process of getting to the final product is typically highly collaborative, with many people, including science fact checkers, contributing the the piece.
However, they will typically have an author who writes the first draft at least, and so shapes the piece. For the pieces I have listed here, I either wrote the first draft, or heavily rewrote it.
The ESO and Hubble Space Telescope press releases do not credit the author, co-authors, editors and proof readers.
Would you like confirmation that I was the main author on these pieces? No problem!
Get in touch with me and I will provide you with an independent reference to get in contact with.
