Yoga Minis Course
Welcome to the Yoga Minis course! This page includes 12 mini 20-minute yoga classes.
Lesson 1
Can't face a Sun Salutation? Stretch and strengthen for 20 minutes, without a single downward facing dog.
(Some issues with focus - fixed for future videos)
Lesson 2
Can't face a Sun Salutation? Stretch and strengthen the back of your body for 20 minutes, without a single downward facing dog. Great for helping with poor posture when sitting at a desk.
Lesson 3
A short, brisk vinyasa flow. Raise your heart rate, stretch out and get breathing.
Lesson 4
A short gentle practice with an emphasis on stretching out the back of your body.
Low intensity and great if you're feeling stiff or achy.
Lesson 5
A short practice with a focus on really moving your back. Fold, bend, stretch and twist!
Low intensity, and excellent if you've been sitting down a lot.
Lesson 6
Get twisty! A mini practice focused on twisting your entire upper body.
Low intensity. Pick a time when your stomach isn't full for this lesson!
LESSON 7
Open your hips and move in this short practice, which starts slowly and then moves in to a short vinyasa sequence.
Stretch out, challenge your balance and raise your heart rate a little.
Lesson 8
Stretch out the front of your body, and engage your backbody. This practice starts slowly and then moves in to a short but intense vinyasa sequence.
Stretch out and raise your heart rate a little.
Lesson 9
Focus on deep core strength in this short but intense vinyasa and strength based practice.
It's helpful to have two blocks or two chunky books, but not essential.
Lesson 10
Sometimes, the idea of another Sun Salutation is just off-putting. Enjoy a full body vinyasa sequence, without a single Sun Salutation or downward facing dog!
No props are necessary, but a blanket is nice fore the knees.
Lesson 11
We go forwards and backward a lot in yoga. In this sequence, we move sideways to strengthen and stretch the whole body.
Two blocks, books, or something to elevate you hands are really helpful.
The light gets a little dim at the end, but the audio and image remain clear!
Lesson 12
For the last class of the course, we hit all the key elements of a full vinyasa practice: warm up; sun salutations; standing poses; seated poses; back bends and inversions - all in 20 minutes.
No props necessary.
